Our 8000 hours challenge

Where Next needs the support of 8,000 volunteer hours a year, during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.


Could you spare an hour or more to support Where Next and the individuals who rely on it?


We are seeking volunteers who wish to be part of an organization that is dedicated to benefiting the lives of those in their community - who are kind and committed and who have a desire to support Where Next in the following areas:


Care

Retail

Arts and Crafts

Health/Well-being/Fitness

DIY/Handyman Skills

Commercial Horticulture


What do we look for in a volunteer?


People who are sympathetic to our aims

People who would like to help those with special needs People with all kinds of skills and experience

A willing pair of hands – everyone has something to offer as much or as little time as you can spare


What are the rewards for the volunteer?


Knowing you are doing something worthwhile and giving something back to society by helping those less fortunate.

Work Experience At Where Next

We offer work experience placements for those thinking of working in social care, healthcare, or horticulture capacity. Placements can be arranged on request directly with the college or individual concerned. Please contact us for current opportunities.
