Joan edmondson

Joan is a retired nurse and nursing consultant, from Yorkshire, who spent over 35 years working within the NHS, the last six working within the Nursing Employment Service.

In 1995, Joan retired and was awarded an OBE in the same year. Since retirement, Joan has taken on several responsibilities including seven years with the Independent Monitoring Board (formerly Board of Visitors), at HMP Blackenhurst, Redditch. 

Joan has also spent the last fourteen years working with the Rotary Club of Redditch. Joan joined Where Next as a trustee in 2004.
