Mathew joined Where Next Association as Chief Executive in February 2018, having previously headed up a charity working with deaf people in the UK and a number of countries in Africa, for eight years.

Prior to that he spent five years working in Indonesia - including for the World Bank - through which he managed a national programme working with Small and Medium sized Enterprises. Mathew has worked at a senior level within the third sector for over 15 years, prior to that he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and in financial institutions in the City of London.

He has a Master's degree and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to both the charity and private sector.
